ISLE of Wight music label Chalkpit Records will be kicking off the Cowes Week entertainment.
After last year’s success, the label is set to host another takeover event, featuring a line-up of Island talent, on Thursday, July 27 at Cowes Yacht Haven.
The line up includes blues rock trio Confed Fred – who performed at this year’s Glastonbury Festival – along with electronic indie five piece Nakamarra, The Orders, Goo Lagoon, Reminders and Southampton-based alt rock trio Toreador.
Chalkpit Records founder, Silas Gregory, said: “Cowes Week, we are back with vengeance! We are thrilled to have the platform to showcase six of the Island and south coast’s finest musical offerings at Cowes Yacht Haven, as part of the opening night of the internationally prestigious event.
