After Yoppul paraded the best parts of Cowes two weeks ago, it’s time to take a look at Ventnor’s highlights.
Remember the town with the most likes on our Facebook post will be crowned winner.
So why is Ventnor the best?
The stunning walks:

Nobody can deny a walk to Steephill Cove is one of the most perfect ways to spend a Summer Sunday. Or, basically anywhere else in Ventnor.

The microclimate:
You can be sure as anything, if it’s raining in Cowes, the Ventnorians are out sunbathing.
The infamous paddling pool:

We need say nothing more.
The Food:
Be it crab sandwiches, perfect bread, the all-year-round sangria or a trip to the Spyglass Inn, there is plenty on offer.

Ventnor Fringe:
The Isle of Wight’s very own version of the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe.

With music, plays, poetry and more, there is plenty on offer at Ventnor Fringe.
Sport:
Ventnor is the only place you can play league rings. But, of course it is also home to the Lions.

Ventnor Rugby Club enjoyed a stunning season this year, gaining promotion.
And let’s not forget Ventnor Skatepark

Ventnor Botanic Gardens:
The perfect place for a stroll

The Boxing Day Swim:
Ahh, where else but Ventnor for a refreshing dip after all that roast turkey.

The hotels:
Okay, so we did this one for Cowes too, but Ventnor really does have some cracking places to stay.
